Nikon’s expertise in optical design has been used to develop the Presio i range of progressive lenses.

Conventional progressive lenses are often both quite difficult to adapt to and can only offer reasonable vision from distance through to reading.

Nikon understands that the needs of progressive lens wearers can be quite different, for example those with specific yet differing visual needs, usually determined by the actual prescription and how the wearer uses their spectacles.

‘Quick Access Technology’ is used to ensure a wide and easily accessible reading area without sacrificing distance sharpness. This design gives a balanced performance with almost elimination of ‘distortion’ allowing easy adaptation.

Single vision lenses do not give any flexibility on viewing objects further away (up to 3 meters for Online) and progressive lenses are not specialized enough to give the width of vision required for comfortable vision.
